Time to consider the role of Terpenes in CBD Oil
Terpenes offer extra health benefits and researchers have been investigating their therapeutic potential for decades — concluding they have much to offer regarding our physiological and emotional well-being.
Terpenes aren’t as appealing on their own due to their low potency. However, they can make a significant difference when added to a CBD product and are usually infused into CBD oils to provide it with desired fragrances aside from modulating the effects of CBD.
Terpenes are more than just aromatic molecules. In fact, they can considerably affect the therapeutic profile of your CBD oil. There’s still a lot to discover when it comes to the relationship between cannabinoids and terpenes.

Examples of some of the Terpenes used within our formulations and their associated benefits:
Myrcene, or β-myrcene is found in abundance across many different varieties of Cannabis. Beyond cannabis, myrcene is found in hops and is responsible for the peppery, spicy, balsam fragrance in beer. It’s also expressed in lemongrass, which has been used in traditional folk medicine for centuries. β-Caryophyllene is another common terpene found across many different varieties of Cannabis. Caryophyllene has been linked to the CB2 receptors found within your body and some research suggests that Caryophyllene has anti-inflammatory as well as anti-bacterial properties.
